Most days of every week in the year, AVFC collects surplus food from retail marketers and delivers it to food pantries, groups, and individuals in need. We collect & distribute clothing, furniture, and other items from private donors. We also provide information and education to assist citizens to empower themselves. By doing so, AVFC assists hundreds of struggling families each week. We serve all equally, regardless of age, race, or creed. We cover the Miami Valley, Ohio area: Dayton, Springfield, Middletown, & Hamilton and nearby communities.

Needs in our local communities are growing and AVFC is determined to meet the challenge. AVFC needs funds in order to maintain this website, buy equipment & supplies, pay for gasoline, and fund outreach projects. We appreciate support from caring people like you.
